Former Kaizer Chiefs forward Jose Torrealba says he is confident Venezuela forward Gustavo Paez will be a success at the club.

The Venezuela forward has previously played with Torrealba during their one season together at Venezuela side Deportivo Lara during the 2013-14 season.

Torrealba admits that Paez is a ‘good striker’ and he believes that the 26-year-old’s experiencing can help him become a success at the club.

‘Gustavo is a good striker,’ Torrealba told the Kaizer Chiefs website.

‘He’s quick and more mature than when I played with him in 2013. He played in several countries. Experiencing such a variety of cultures is very important. I am sure he will do well at Chiefs.’
