Bloemfontein Celtic chairman Max Tshabalala says the club is devasted and emotionally paralysed, following the passing of president Rantlai Petrus Molemela.
Phunya Sele Sele and the Football fraternity is in mourning after the club’s former owner, and current Life-Time President, passed away on Sunday morning after a long debilitating illness.
The Celtic chairman says Siwelele is saddened by the loss of their mentor and ‘father-figure’, who not only made a huge impact at the club, but also for soccer, sport, and the community.
‘We are saddened by the death of our mentor, leader, and father-figure at the team,’ Tshabalala told the Bloemfontein Celtic website.
‘We are incredibly devastated and emotionally paralysed by the loss of such a valuable and immensely experienced administrator, who not only made a contribution at Celtic, but for soccer, sport and the community at large.
‘It is painful losing Ntate at this time when we genuinely needed him for his motivation and guidance towards both the management and players.
‘We will forever cherish his dedication and absolute love towards the team. He has built a legacy that we have to maintain as a brand. May his soul rest in peace.’
