Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila has confirmed the signing of former Orlando Pirates winger Khethokwakhe Masuku.
The 32-year-old has now put pen to paper on a six-month contract with the National First Division outfit with the option of renewing his deal.
The club’s spokesperson Livhuwani Madzuhe confirmed that the former Bloemfontein Celtic player finalised his registration and will begin training immediately ahead of their clash against Cape Town All Stars.
‘Yes, we have signed him today,’ Madzuhe told KickOff.com.
‘We’ve finalised the registration today, we’ve received the card and everything. So we were still negotiating with him because, obviously, it can’t be a long-term contract. We gave him a six-month contract with an option to renew.
‘He will be part of the team flying to Cape Town. He started training with the team yesterday. We need to beef up our team because we can now see that we are competing.
‘We wanted an experienced player who can come and beef up our team. He is the person who can add value to our team. Even our coach was happy with his first training session with the team yesterday,’ he concluded.
Over the course of his career, Masuku has scored five goals and assisted a further 13 from 81 appearances in all competitions playing for the likes of Black Leopards, Pirates, Royal Eagles and Celtic.
