Godfrey Walusimbi has commented on how he has been settling in after becoming the seventh player signed by Kaizer Chiefs.
Chiefs also signed Khama Billiat, Andriamirado Andrianarimanana, Letlhogonolo Mirwa, Virgil Vries, Lebogang Manyama and Mario Booysen in this transfer window.
The Soweto giants have filled the void left by veteran defender Tsepo Masilela, who was released by the club last season, by snapping up the services of the 29-year-old from Kenyan club Gor Mahia.

Walusimbi can be considered somewhat of a journeyman, with Chiefs set to be his sixth club since making his professional debut six years ago. The left back, who will don the No 29 jersey, has enjoyed stints with Ugandan outfit Sports Club Villa and Congolese side CS Don Bosco.

Upon being unveiled as an Amakhosi player, the defender revealed his joy at being signed to a club of Chiefs’ stature.
‘I’ve always known that Kaizer Chiefs is a great football club,’ he told the club’s official website.
