Take a look at highlights of an entertaining top-of-the-table clash between Cape Town City and Kaizer Chiefs, which saw Amakhosi’s 12-match unbeaten run in the Absa Premiership come to an end.
Eric Tinkler’s claimed bragging rights following their 3-2 over Chiefs at the Cape Town Stadium on Tuesday, which saw them remain at the summit of the PSL table, while Amakhosi dropped to fourth.
Aubrey Ngoma opened the scoring for the hosts in the 16th minute after he showed composure to beat three Chiefs defenders before slotting the ball past Bruce Bvuma and make it 1-0.
The Glamour Boys then equalised four minutes later when Siphiwe Tshabalala produced a world-class chipped effort to evade City shot-stopper Shu-Aib Walters.
City captain Lebogang Manyama showed his class in the 35th minute to restore his side’s lead after a fine individual piece of skill.
Steve Komphela’s side, for the second time in the game, equalised when Chiefs were rewarded for their attacking efforts as Joseph Molangoane found the equaliser in the 72nd minute after some great work by Gustavo Paez.
However, the Cape Town-based side secured the victory when substitute Judas Moseamedi netted in stoppage time, to give his side a 3-2 victory.
