Mamelodi Sundowns defeated Golden Arrows 2-0 on Friday evening and in the process moved to the summit of the Absa Premiership table.
The Brazilians opened the scoring in the 59th minute after captain Hlompho Kekana fired the ball into the bottom corner from 20-yards out to make it 1-0.
Motjeka Madisha all but sealed the win in the 71st minute when he caught the Arrows defence napping before headering home a corner from Teko Modise’s corner at the near post.
However, Sundowns moved to the top of the Absa Premiership table, following their 2-0 win over Golden Arrows at the Princess Magogo Stadium on Friday.
