Watch as goalkeeper Brandon Petersen opens up on how he snubbed Orlando Pirates in favour of Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs.

The 27-year-old joined Chiefs on a free transfer in September 2020 after his former club Bidvest Wits sold their PSL status to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila F.C.

However, Petersen got his Chiefs career off to a bright start following his stellar performance on his debut in their win over Pirates in the Carling Black Label Cup at the start of the season.

The shot-stopper admits that he could’ve been playing for Pirates after leaving Wits before then-Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt wanted his services at the Glamour Boys.
