Baroka FC chairman Kurishi Mphahlele says there has been no contact with former veteran Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Hlompho Kekana, but adds if he is open to a move they will definitely take him.
Kekana has been the reported subject of interest for a number of clubs in the January transfer window, with SuperSport United and AmaZulu FC thought to be the leading contenders to snap up the midfielder who has been a free agent since being released by Downs in November.

Reports have also linked the midfielder to Baroka. However, the Bakgaga chairman called the reports rumours, but admitted they will be open to signing Kekana if he wanted to come to the club.
“Nothing is happening between us and Hlompho Kekana, we’ve never spoken to him or anything, it just rumours, nothing else,” Mphahlele told SoccerLaduma.
“But as a Limpopo legend we would welcome him anytime and if he is open to join us we will definitely take him anytime, who can say no to Hlompho? We will take him if there’s a chance.”
