Orlando Pirates ‘will wait for the right time’ to unveil former Bloemfontein Celtic defender Alfred Ndengane according to Floyd Mbele.
Ndengane, who was linked with a move to Mayfair was released by Phunya Sele Sele at the beginning of October further fuelling speculation that he would join the Buccaneers.
Despite being seen at training with the Soweto giants, the 31-year-old is yet to be unveiled by the club with Pirates’ administrator Floyd Mbele stating that confirmation will come when the time is right.
‘We will wait for the right time and then announce everything regarding Ndengane. That is what I can say for now,’ he told Isolezwe.
‘For now we have different competitions the club is participating in. It is very difficult for us to divulge or announcements of this nature.
‘When the time is right we will make announcements regarding Ndengane,’ he concluded.
Pirates will look to extend their excellent run of form when they take on defending Absa Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday with kickoff set for 3:30pm.
