Speaking on the transfer, coach Gavin Hunt revealed that his team needed another striker.
‘I’ve been watching Eva for some time now and I like what I see. He was the top goal-scorer in the Mozambican league, so let’s see what transpires from here,’ said Hunt.
‘We’re obviously delighted to welcome Eva. He’s an exciting striker who, we believe, will thrive in our club environment. He certainly gives our coach Gavin Hunt additional ammunition up front and we have every belief that he can emulate the form shown in Mozambique,’ added Bidvest Wits Football Club COO Jonathan Schloss.
Wits will be looking to stay in the title race and not fall behind Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs, hoping that Eva will help fire them to glory.
