Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca has sent a message of support to Mamelodi Sundowns right back Thapelo Morena after he suffered an ankle injury in the Nedbank Cup on Saturday.
Morena picked up a fracture and ligament damage on his right ankle during their 1-0 victory over Tshwane rivals SuperSport United at Loftus on Saturday night to advance to the Nedbank Cup last 16.
However, Morena was stretchered off the field in the 69th minute after he twisted his ankle in a battle with SuperSport defender Onismor Bhasera.
Sundowns then confirmed that the Bafana Bafana international is set to undergo surgery.
Wydad heard about his injury and took to Twitter to wish the Sundowns right back well.
