Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer admits that his side have not 100 % executed his gameplan, despite their current form in the Absa Premiership.
The Buccaneers have thus far won four out of the last five games since Zinnbauer took over in December last year.
Pirates, who are on a seven-game unbeaten run in the league, currently occupy fifth place in the Absa Premiership with 30 points from 18 matches played so far this season.
The German mentor is impressed with his side’s recent performances, which he believes is down to the hard work put in on the training ground.
‘All the chances and goals you see at the moment is as a result of the work in training, and that shows we are a unit at the moment,’ Zinnbauer told the media.
‘We work well with and without the ball, but it’s not as easy as scoring 10 goals in one game – that’s a dream, but it’s not impossible.
‘But for me, it’s better if we win games and play well in most of them, if we play as a unit and keep a good shape, and we work well with and without the ball – that right now is important for me.
‘We’ve had maybe four weeks of working together now, and the players don’t have 100% of the plan we want [to execute] yet, with or without the ball.’
