Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer says he was not happy with the outcome of the game after the Buccaneers dropped points against Golden Arrows on Saturday.
The Buccaneers failed to close the gap on log leaders Kaizer Chiefs after playing out to a goalless draw against Arrows at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.
The stalemate sees Pirates remain third in the Absa Premiership standings, while Abafana Bes’thende is left in seventh position on the table.
Zinnbauer was left frustrated after his side failed to make the most of their chances by dropping point against a stubborn Arrows outfit.
‘Ja it was a tough game, we know this before. You see the field, the opponent is very aggressive in the defending, we know this. The performance from my team was not bad, we want [ed] three points,’ Zinnbauer told SuperSport TV after the match.
‘I think we had in the first half the chance to score but [in the] second half, with a lot of wind it’s not so easy for the players. It’s [an] away game, we have one point, we want [ed] three but it’s okay.
‘I’m not happy about the result but we take one point to prepare now for the next game.’
