Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer felt his side controlled the game but lost their confidence in the second half against Bloemfontein Celtic.
The Buccaneers played out to their sixth draw in the Absa Premiership campaign after playing to a 1-1 draw with Celtic when Gabadinho Mhango’s opener was cancelled out by a late goal from Siphelele Luthuli.
The draw sees Pirates occupy fifth place with 21 points from 15 matching played, having won five games, drawn six and conceded four defeats so far this season.
Zinnbauer felt that his side did not come out with confidence in the second half after dominating the first half of the game.
‘I think the first-half was good, we had the combination that we make in the training session, we can see this but the second-half was not so good for us,’ Zinnbauer told SuperSport TV after the game.
‘I think we had the control of the game yet the opponent is coming, they make always a little more than me [us], maybe we thought in the first-half it was too easy for us and then you don’t come back with the confidence and say, ‘OK, it’s easy’ but it’s not easy.’
