The Amiens SC midfielder appeared on Power FM and touched on a range of topics including reported links to French giants Lyon, the future’s of Andile Jali and Percy Tau, in addition to revealing that he is open to a move to Pirates, citing assistant coach Rulani Mokwena as a factor.

Prior to his move abroad to Portuguese outfit Vitória Guimarães, Zungu had worked under Pirates assistant coach Rulani Mokwena at Sundowns and the 25-year-old admits that he wouldn’t mind being re-united with the assistant at Pirates someday.

‘I don’t know if I will go back to Sundowns,’ he said on Power FM.

‘I have a good relationship with Rulani and I grew up supporting Pirates. It is a possibility.

‘I had three years at Sundowns. Maybe if Pitso (Mosimane) is there. But Pirates excites me. A young coach. Good new faces,’ he concluded.
