Themba Zwane’s agent has revealed that his player’s future remains with Mamelodi Sundowns, despite media reporters linking the Bafana Bafana winger with a move to Kaizer Chiefs.
The winger’s representative, Jazzman Mahlakgane, has cleared the air regarding the player’s future after media reports suggested that the former Mpumalanga Black Aces player is set for a move to the Naturena-based outfit.
Zwane’s current contract is set to terminate at the end of the season; however, Mahlakgane has dismissed the notion that the man known as Mshishi to his fans could be in negotiations with Chiefs.
‘There’s nothing like that [discussions with Chiefs]. The real story is that we are talking to Sundowns only, full stop,’ he told Kickoff.
‘The people who are spreading those rumours must not try to make us busy with something that is not there.
‘We are only talking to Sundowns as far as I know, as far as me and my player knows. So if there’s something else that I’m not aware of… it’s not in my power.
‘But me as a duly authorised intermediate of Mshishi, I’m talking to Sundowns, and you can confirm that with Sundowns,’ he concluded.
Masandawana are poised to lose the services of Khama Billiat and Leonardo Castro at the end of the season, despite Mosimane claiming that the former is expected to pen a contract extension.
