It proved to be a disappointing weekend of results for South Africans abroad, although Luther Singh and Phakamani Mahlambi starred for their clubs. MARSHALL GOUTS wraps up the action.
Bongani Zungu
The former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder played the entire 90 minutes in his side’s 2-1 loss against Olympique Lyonnais. Amiens SC occupy tenth spot on the table with Zungu having made 12 appearances and netting one goal thus far in Ligue 1.

Andile Jali
The Bafana Bafana midfielder made his 15th league appearance for KV Oostende in their 1-0 loss against KV Mechelen. Despite lasting the entire 90 minutes, Jali’s side occupy the fourth from bottom spot of the table and are seven points adrift of last-placed Eupen.

Phakamani Mahlambi
Mahlambi made only his fifth league appearance of the season for Al Ahly as he came off the bench in his side’s 3-2 loss against Masr El Makasa. The former Bidvest Wits winger played his role in helping his side claw their way back into the game as he set-up the second goal, but it proved too little too late.
The result sees the Egyptian giants remain in second spot on the table.
Keagan Dolly
Dolly failed to make the Montpellier match-day squad for the fourth consecutive time as his side were held to a 1-1 draw against SCO Angers. The former Sundowns man has registered only four league appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit this season.
Lebogang Manyama
The reigning Absa Premiership Footballer of the year had to contend with a place on the bench in a 3-0 loss against Buraspor. Manyama has managed six appearances for Genclerbirligi in the Turkey Super Lig since his move from Cape Town City.
Kamohelo Mokotjo
The Bafana midfielder started the game for Brentford in a 3-2 Championship loss to Hull City, but made way after 63 minutes. Mokotjo’s side occupy 13th spot on the table from 21 games played.

Dino Ndlovu
Ndlovu was an unused substitute as Qarabag beat Sebail 2-0 in Azerbaijan. Qarabag occupy top spot on the table with Ndlovu forming an integral part of their success, having made 13 league appearances, netting five times while being on hand to assist four times.
Lebogang Phiri
The 23-year-old made his tenth league appearance of the season for Guingamp as he came off the bench in the 60th minute in his side’s 4-0 win over Dijon. Guingamp occupy tenth spot on the table after 17 matches played.
Tokelo Rantie
The former Orlando Pirates striker played no part in Genclerbirligi’s 1-1 draw against Antalyaspor as he continues his road to recovery after sustaining an injury in the shock victory against Besiktas.
Luther Singh
The one-time Bafana man managed to net his sixth goal of the season as Braga B lost 2-1 to Academico Viseu. Braga B occupy 17th spot on the table.
