Percy Tau continued his fine start to life at Anderlecht as he scored a second-half equaliser on his first league start for the club in the 2-2 draw with Oostende on Friday.
The South African forward – on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion – has made an impact off the bench over the last few games, netting a goal in one and winning a penalty in the other.

Oostende started the game on the front foot and after 34 minutes had fired themselves into a 2-0 lead through Robbie D’Haese and a penalty from Senegal forward Makhtar Gueye to gain control of the game.
Vincent Kompany’s side began the fightback in the 35th minute when Adrien Trebel halved the deficit before the half-time break.
Unbeaten Anderlecht was hoping to keep their unbeaten record intact heading into the second half and it was the 26-year-old South African who came to their rescue in the 54th minute.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns player latched on to Trebel’s pass inside the box before coolly finding the bottom right corner of the net with his left-footed strike.

It was Tau’s second goal in three games for his new employers, having netted in the 3-1 win over Sint-Truiden on 16 August.
Tau will next be in action when Anderlecht host Cercle Brugge on 13 September.
