Sadio Mane scored a hat-trick as Liverpool thrashed Porto 5-0 in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 encounter at the Estadio Do Dragao on Wednesday evening.
The Senegalese international broke the deadlock after 25 minutes when his shot crept underneath Porto goalkeeper Jose Sa in a hugely one-sided clash in Portugal.
Mohamed Salah’s then doubled his side’s lead four minutes later before Mane and Roberto Firmino both scored on the counter in the second half.
The Reds then put the game to bed in the 85th minute when Mane’s strike found the back of the net to become the fourth Liverpool player to score a hat-trick in the Champions League.
