Watch Jurgen Klopp’s assessment of Liverpool’s performance after their 7-6 aggregate victory over Roma to reach the Champions League final.
The Reds booked their place to face holders Real Madrid in the final despite losing 4-2 to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday evening.
Klopp’s side headed to the Italian capital with a commanding 5-2 advantage from last week’s first leg, where their Serie A opponents snatched faint hopes of a comeback by netting a pair of late away goals.
The Liverpool mentor said: ‘The boys deserved it, the campaign, the character they showed, the mentality they showed, the football they showed, that’s just crazy.
‘We are all-inclusive, sometimes I like it and sometimes I don’t, and tonight after the game I’m fine with it.
‘We should start winning and I know it already. It will happen, I said it before the semi-final, but everybody will remind me from now on that I lost the four finals.
‘The only chance to win a final is to go there and we will try to do it again.’
