Watch James Milner’s reaction as Liverpool ‘made things interesting’ on their way to reaching the Champions League final.

Liverpool may have lost 4-2 to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday night but they still advanced to the final with a 7-6  aggregate victory and midfielder Milner has joked about how his side made things interesting by allowing Roma to fight back.

Liverpool went into the second leg with a 5-2 lead after a dominant display at Anfield and despite controlling large parts of the second leg, three second-half goals by Roma almost brought them back in it. 

The Reds, however, held on to progress to the final where they will face two-time defending champions Real Madrid.

When asked about what he made of the evening’s performance, the Englishman said, ‘I don’t know what to say. We know how to make things interesting. We were pretty in control first half but second half they put the pressure on though, they are a really good team.’
