The South African U20 Futsal team were forced to endure a 8-7 defeat to Catalonia in the quarter-final of the AMF World Cup.

South Africa will now take on Colombia for fifth and sixth place after the defending champions fell to a 3-2 defeat against Paraguay in their respective quarter-final encounter.
