The New England Patriots fought back from 28-3 down to beat the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in overtime of Super Bowl LI in Houston.
The greatest Super Bowl comeback had previously been from 10 points down.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady set a Super Bowl record with 466 passing yards and it was the fourth time in his career that he had brought the Patriots back from three scores down.

He and coach Bill Belichick both claimed their fifth Super Bowl title, while the heartbroken Falcons are still waiting for their first.
‘We all brought each other back,’ said Brady, who was named Super Bowl MVP for a record fourth time. ‘We never felt out of it.’
‘He was the same as he always is: Cool, calm and collected,’ said Danny Amendola, who caught the two-point conversion that tied the score in regulation. ‘He’s the leader, the general, the best ever and that is the end of the story.’
