Former France and Manchester United legend Eric Cantona has declared his candidacy for the England job in this bizarre EuroSport video.
The position of English national team manager has opened up after Roy Hodgson’s resignation following the Three Lions exit at the Euro 2016. It’s been heavily debated who will be taking over.
The 50-year-old has announced his candidacy in this Eurosport video.
‘I hear the call, that is why today, the self-appointed Commissioner of Football declares his candidacy,’ Cantona said.
‘I, Eric Cantona, potential future manager of England, assure you that I have the right pedigree for the job,’ he added.
He also promised to install Peter Schmeichel as his assistant manager and to have Sir Alex Ferguson as his special advisor.
