Real Madrid secure their first victory over Atletico Madrid in the La Liga in three years following their 3-0 win at the Vicente Calderon on Saturday.

Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring from a free kick which a wicked deflection on its way past Atleti goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

Ronaldo then doubled his side’s lead from the penalty spot in the 71st minute before a brilliant Gareth Bale cross set up the Portuguese captain for a simple finish to complete his hat-trick.
