Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris was the hero for his side on Tuesday evening as he made a top-class save to deny Bayer Leverkusen.

In a match in which Spurs were largely outplayed by their German rivals, it took Lloris’ heroics to earn his side a valuable point in the Champions League contest, keeping them above Leverkusen, as they sit in second position in Group E with three games played.
