Argentina legend Diego Maradona and Juan Sebastian Veron clashed during a Pope Francis’ Match for Peace on Wednesday night.
Maradona, who coached the former Manchester United player while in charge of national side from 2008-2010, appeared to barge into Veron as the pair made their way off for the half time break. The 55-year-old one-time World Cup winner can be seen waving his finger at Veron while reportedly saying: ‘I don’t need to talk with you’.
The issue escalated as Maradona became irate with security forced to intervene in order to prevent a scuffle as Maradona continues to launch a war of words at Veron.
The pair reportedly settled their issue during the half time break.
