Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has opened up on the latest rumours of Lionel Messi joining the Red Devils during his pre-match press conference on Wednesday.

A Portuguese journalist asked the 43-year-old tactician to comment on recent speculation linking the Red Devils with Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.

‘Honestly, I hope he never leaves because I think he belongs to Barcelona and Barcelona belongs to him,’ Mourinho replied.
