Watch German international Leroy Sane first interview on CityTV about his £37-million move to Manchester from Bundesliga club Schalke.

After completing his move to City on a five-year deal with the club, Sane in his first interview as a City player talks about playing under manager Pep Guardiola and in the Premier League.

‘Yes, it’s a very big role. I followed Pep at Barcelona and at Bayern where he achieved a lot and worked really well with young players and brought them on. That was a big part of my decision to come here,’ Sane said.

‘He will bring me a long way in terms of tactics and I think he can help any player develop technically. I think he can make me a more complete player.’

Before completing his move to City, the German midfielder spent two season’s playing in the Schalke senior team, making 47 appearances in all competitions, while netting 11 goals.
