Former England manager Steve McLaren was left red-faced after his commentary blunder on Sky Sports on Monday.

McLaren, who failed to guide the Three Lions into Euro 2008, was a pundit for England’s last 16 match against Iceland and was singing the praises of Roy Hodgson’s side for the manner in which they responded to the Icelandic equaliser.
