Manchester United midfield prospect Josh Harrop scored two goals in 36 seconds during the reserves’ 2-2 draw with Reading in Premier League 2 on Monday.
United interim coach Nicky Butt saw his team fall behind through Dominic Hyam’s effort before a remarkable response yielded two goals inside 36 seconds.
The 20-year-old converted a penalty after Callum Gribbin was brought down by Reading goalkeeper Luke Southwood, and straight from the restart the midfielder dribbled his way through to put his side ahead and score his fifth goal of the season.
However, the Royals then levelled matters through Joseph Mendes with the score remaining 2-2 until the final whistle, with the sides sharing the spoils.
