Wales defender Chris Gunter has attempted to explain the reasons behind his side’s wild celebrations after England’s exit from Euro 2016.

‘It certainly wasn’t a video to show any lack of respect,’ Gunter told the BBC.
Gunter also insists that the team have no regrets about the video.
‘I think it’s fantastic for the tournament that another smaller nation have progressed through; another team that were probably written off before a ball was kicked.
‘I think the main feeling after the final whistle – and probably in a selfish way from the squad – was generally a real pride that we’re the last team from the home nations to be in the tournament.’
Wales face Belgium on Friday for a place in the semi-finals. The match in Lille kicks off at 21:00.
