England midfielder Danny Drinkwater scored a sublime half-volley during Leicester City’s 3-1 victory over Liverpool at the King Power Stadium on Monday.
Leicester striker Jamie Vardy scored his first Premier League goals since December 10 before Drinkwater netted a sensational volley from outside the box to hand his side a 2-0 lead.
Vardy rounded off the scoring for his side in the 60th minute before Philippe Coutinho scored a consolation goal for the Reds in the 68th minute as the Foxes claimed their first win of 2017.
Drinkwater has now scored just one goal and has managed to assist a further three from 31 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
Meanwhile, the Foxes have now moved out of the relegation zone and in 15th in the Premier League standings, two points clear of the bottom three with 24 points.
